I would like to transfer as an Asian American Studies/Asian Studies/Asian Diaspora major to any of these schools. The plan is to apply fall 2014 for the 2015-16 school year.

My current GPA is a 3.24. By the end of the upcoming fall semester it should be a 3.4 as i am taking classes i'm sure i will do well in.
I've been working +/- 30hrs/week since high school and I am starting my 3rd year at a CC.

My extracurriculars include:
-volunteer for political campaigns (Loretta Sanchez, Luis Marquez, and Sharon-Quirk Silva) every other year to help contact voters during election season
-summer 2013 intern at the Orange County Children's Therapeutic Arts Center to counsel troubled parents, assist in guitar instruction, and organize children's art/music appreciation events
-volunteer at the Pilipino Workers Center in LA to feed citizens without homes or jobs once a week

i'm not sure if it is worth mentioning, but I am also training to become a professional boxer. (I like to consider training a second job).

I am a pretty strong writer when it comes to essays so I feel my personal statement will be good. I know i need to really work hard to raise my gpa this upcoming semester. Any opinions on my extracurriculars? Should i try to add more leadership roles? And is the amount of work per week something to help get me in?

I really appreciate anyone's honest feedback. :)
