I think GW is the most "reach" school I'm applying to...so, here are my stats:

I'm a white female from Philadelphia. I go to a high-ranking private (Quaker) school. We don't do GPA here, but mine would be around a 3.4-3.5 (unweighted).

We also don't have AP classes, just advanced and non-advanced. I have taken three years of advanced Spanish, 2 years of advanced sciences, and one year of advanced statistics. My school only offers advanced courses for math, science, and language (so I couldn't have taken history or lit advanced).

On the SAT I got a total of 2040, with a 700 in CR, a 580 in math, and a 760 in writing. I got a 28 on the ACT but I don't think I'll send those scores to GW.

Out of school:
Member of varsity wrestling team junior and senior year (one of 3 girls on a boy's team)
Co-organizer and president of school's bi-annual blood drive
Active member of school's GSA
Played intramural softball and tennis freshman and sophomore years
Editor of a blog about baking
Worked at local food market half of last year and this year
Volunteer at local animal shelter approx. 50 hours a year (past 4 years)
Foster "parent" of sick/injured animals from local shelter

I plan to apply undecided for my major, also. Do you think the fact that I'm not super into politics will negatively affect me?

Thanks for any help!
