I am a student at a well known and respected US high school. McGill University is my dream school and I am wondering what my chances of getting accepted to the following programs are:

Arts: General
Biological Sciences
Physical Sciences
Engineering: Chemical Engineering

My grades from the first 2 years of high school were not that great, but I know that McGill only looks at grades from the last 3 years. I've gotten mostly As, some Bs and (unfortunately) 2 C+s and 1 C.
I've taken 6 AP classes and have taken honors/advanced/accelerated courses since freshman year.
My SAT scores were 710 for each section (math, critical reading, and writing). I received a score of 740 for my Molecular Biology SAT II and a score of 700 for my Literature SAT II.
I participate in a lot of extracurricular activities. Unfortunately, I've heard that McGill doesn't really take extracurriculars into consideration.
I took a university class at an Ivy League University this past summer. I also interned there over the summer and plan to work there again next summer.

What do you think my chances of acceptance are?
Thanks! :)

You have to narrow down to two on the actual application… were these Cs earned in the first year of high school?

Arts: Safety
Biological Sciences: Safety (if these As, Bs and Cs in 10-12 grades still somehow amount to 3.6+ UW)/High reach (otherwise)
Physical sciences: Safety
Chemical engineering: Safety if 3.7+ UW/High reach if below 3.7 UW

I’m submitting two applications.
Not including the first year of high school, those are my grades
My GPA is around a 3.4-3.5 unweighted
Including my senior year, my GPA will hopefully be around a 3.5-3.6 unweighted

For engineering: I’ve heard from some people that it is easier to get accepted if you’re a girl… do you happen to know if this is true? I know a girl who was accepted to the engineering program two years ago and there’s no way she had a 3.7 unweighted GPA

Meeting these standards is generally required to have an shot of getting in, however as it says at the top of the page merely meeting these minimums does not guarantee acceptance. Try to exceed all the grades and scores listed by a few points and you should be fine.
