Chances of getting accepted to University of Alabama

Hey, I was just see if anyone could help me out. I'm wondering what my chances of getting accepted to Alabama is. I have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and made a 18 on my ACT and I just took it again hoping I made a higher score. I should be graduating with an advanced diploma an have lived in Alabama my whole life if that helps out any. Also I know some people that have got accepted to Bama with a 17 or 16 on there ACT with a really low GPA. So I'm just trying to see what my chances are. Thanks

Are you a senior? When did you apply?
Are you a URM or from a rural area in the state?

If you recently applied, your chances may be low since Bama has probably reached its limits except for exceptional applicants (NMFs, NAs, etc).

Bama is lenient early in the app season especially for those who are from rural parts of the state where K-12 education isn’t what it should be. Bama has a special program for these students to get them ready for college-level work.

Frankly, your GPA is a problem as well.

Yes i’m a senior and I applied around the first of January. I’m from Huntsville so I guess you could say i am from a rural area in Alabama.

UofA is a good school. It’s a reach.
