hey everyone, I currently have a 3.3 gpa from the fall semester, I’m trying to either get the same gpa or try my best to get a 3.5. I currently have 8 credits, I will have 18 credits once I finish this semester, I know that I have to send out my hs transcripts and sat scores, my sat score was 980 and my hs gpa was a 2.6, im wondering what are my chances of getting accepted to alabama?
Might be a little hard–I got in w/ a 3.7 and my high school was 2.7 and sat was 1340
I mean i know know my sat was low, but do you think with my college gpa from both semesters would help?
On the surface, I think that taking both transcripts into consideration, this shows you can clearly handle university coursework, especially if those courses you’ve taken so far were rigorous and in your core subject area.
Yeah thats what I thinking of as well, I’m trying to basically redeem myself from my past low grades in hs, and trying to show them that I’ve changed and take my grades very seriously now.
