Can you get accepted w/o visiting the campus…
All I’ve been hearing from people was that visiting the campus is crucial…
I guess I can visit to some colleges that are near by my house… but I dont really want to visit U of C and Northwestern (i live in NJ)… but at the same time they are one of my top choices…

Only a few colleges keep track of "demonstrated interest" in the university - some specifically state on their websites that they do not keep records your contact with the university. I know that WashU does consider your visits during admissions, but off the top of my head, I can't think of any other colleges that do.

Schools like Harvard don't even track interest because they have such a high yield anyway. The colleges that are just out of the HYPSM range (such as WUSTL, Tufts and Emory) care about interest shown since they are sensitive about being used as safeties. If you live far away, they won't put emphasis on a non-visit, but if you live within a couple hundred miles, they might see a non-visit as being a lack of interest.

Don't forget that visiting is important for other, more crucial reasons. You may love the school in the college book but end up hating it after the tour. No description that you read can substitute for being there yourself!

Show interest in other ways. Request info, attend local presentations, send away for their DVD if they have one, mention specifics about the college in the essay about why you want to go there.

I think if you live close enough to visit, there's no reason why you shouldn't. It shows interest, which is important, especially for your matches and safeties.

But if you are too far, then I think colleges have to understand that you might not be able to afford it, etc.
