are the chances of getting into usc as a transfer higher if you come from a UC (such as irvine or santa barbara) as opposed to a community college?

for example, would they see a 3.4 from a UC and consider it more than a 3.4 from a cc?

i dunno... i think usc might even prefer cc student
but it's worth to give it a try
usc rocks

yeah i heard that they prefer ccs too, but i thought as a private university they didnt have to give certain slots to CCs like the UCs do? i could be wrong..

bump, anyone?

no, USC would prefer the student in a university.

MrTrojanMan got into USC with around a 3.3-3.4 from UCI, as did TheRevenge.

USC is not like the UC's.

that is sooo relieving to hear. phew

i'm going to have something along the lines of a 3.4 this quarter, with all the GE categories minus science out of the way.

what sucks is the fact that the UCs dont get out until june 16th so i wont even find out if i get in or not until late june to early july.

its okay im in the same boat.
