Chances of getting in after being deferred for ED? (JHU, Duke,...)

I got accepted into Johns Hopkins University but I got deferred for their Biomedical Engineering major. What are my chances of getting in Regular Review? Not much is it? Since they didn’t accept me ED shouldn’t it be even harder to get in RD? I’m losing all hope, my life is lost! I’m also applying for Duke, Stanford, Havard (stretch), Yale and Washington U in St. Louis… What are my chances? What should I do to get accepted?

<p>If John Hopkins is your first choice, you shouldn't be so quick to worry about not getting in to a certain major. You are already in the school, right? For what major? You never know, TONS and TONS of kids end up changing their majors and whole focus just by taking one random class that sparks interest. You might could still go there and major in something else?</p>

<p>Yeah.. my parents just won't pay... =(</p>
