Chances of getting in Cal Poly Pomona??

<p>I'm a senior now. I want to major in Software Engineering.</p>

<p>1500 on SAT but I didn't study and I'm retaking it and studying this time.</p>

Volunteer in a few organizations.</p>

<p>Does this mean I have a high chance?</p>

<p>Pomona uses a simple index to determine admission. CSU GPA x 800 + SAT. We don’t have enough info to say yeah or nay. For the SAT, they throw out the writing. Assuming Catria’s calculations are correct and you M&R SAT = 1000, your CSU index is 3760. If you are in-state but non-local, that’s probably borderline. Get that SAT up ASAP. </p>

Go here and use the tools to calculate your CSU GPA and validate you’ve got all the a-g courses taken care of. Remember to exclude grades for non-a-g courses like PE.</p>
