Chances of Getting in Cornell CALS

<p>Hi all, I'm applying to CALS as a major in International Agriculture and rural development, and I would just like anybody that is capable to give me feedback about my chances of getting in. </p>

(and also, is it easier to get in by applying to some majors as opposed to more popular ones?)</p>

<p>u r sat1 scores could possibly hurt u r chances..1330/1600 (math+reading) is not a terrific score for cornell..</p>

<p>I personally think you have a fighting chance, your pretty well rounded and everything. I think your SAT scores would maybe even be in the middle 50, and some of your other stuff is respectable. The main thing is that you at least know that you argued your case somewhat (in you essays or whatever).</p>

<p>By the way, they still haven't processed my school report form + transcript and second teacher rec., and this is starting to scare me. Does anyone have a system at their school where they simply ask their guidance office to send, and "take care of" all the materials and dont want common app forms handed to them? This is kind of random but if anyone has a similar problem then please tell.</p>
