Chances of Getting In From Waitlisted?

<p>So I've been waitlisted and responded saying I would like to be reconsidered...does anyone know who actually has been admitted from the waitlist?</p>

<p>Aren't the chances of getting in like 12% of something from the waitlist?</p>

<p>I’m sure it varies each year but my son got in from the waitlist 2 years ago. It also varies by discipline (he’s in engineering); so keep the faith. We actually deposited Syracuse and went to the orientation there before he heard that he got accepted at NEU</p>

<p>DS just declined admission - so we opened up a spot for someone.</p>
