I am a white male New Jersey resident who just recently applied to Rutgers. My EC's are:
FBLA 11, 12 (webmaster)
DECA 12

I have been a basketball referee since 9th grade and have refereed many games each year. (I also wrote my essay about this)
I was also a camp counselor the past 2 summers.

My GPA is a 3.71 (An A is a 4.3, not 4.0)
My rank is 99/445 (Top 25%)

Not really sure... I think you could go either way. I say that because your reading score is pretty low. With your other scores and GPA, you would probably get in.

does anyone know what the minimum GPA or SAT score you need to get into Rutgers? Also, are extracurriculars very important to get into Rutgers or not really? Lastly, barely anyone in my highschool takes ACT or has never even heard of ACT and i live in New Jersey. Should i still take the ACT for Rutgers?

the minimum SAT score that you need to Get into Rutgers is between high 1700's to low 1800's. Your GPA is fine- Rutgers will not look at applicants that have less then a 3.0 (approx). You have a chance of getting accepted

damn are you serious. thats not too difficult to get into then, i was starting to get worried that i would be rejected. i havent applied yet since im still a junior, but i was thinking of applying to Rutgers. my gpa is around a 3.2-3.3 but i havent taken the SAT yet.
