Chances of getting in to Pomona?

After visiting California, I have decided that Pomona is my dream school, although getting in there will probably be some what of a stretch. Please tell me what you think my chances are of getting in. Here's some info about me:

White male, from suburb outside of Boston MA.

GPA: 3.68 (UW)
SAT: 2000
ACT: not taken yet
SAT II: not taken yet
Have taken challenging classes through out high school, very few AP classes offered at my school however.

Extra Curriculars: Basketball four years, varsity two, cross country 4 years, (varsity two), varsity track two years.
-Founder of own community service project which provides aid to homeless in the area
-Founder of my own business which provides landscaping services and other unskilled labor..have made $15000 in four years (operating primarily in summer).
-Coordinator of Boston Food bank community service trips
-Peer tutor
-Coach/mentor for young basketball players locally
-Pianist
-Model UN
-School Newspaper Writer
-Online sports columnist (amateur website)
-Meditation/yoga class instructor.

School type: Large public school, very reputable-known as one of the best public schools in MA. 8 of the 11 applicants from my school have got in to Pomona in the past few years.

I will be applying Early decision, and I plan to interview. I am a rising senior.
What do you all think?

You have a pretty good chance!! Perhaps, a music supplement?

I’m liking the community service project and business, though the test score/GPA are a bit low. Do realize that if you’re sending the SAT, you’ll need Subject Tests (but not if you’re sending the ACT).

If you’re good enough at piano, send in a music supplement. Pomona’s one of those weird schools that seems to love supplements.

Chance back! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1160541-chance-rising-senior-senior-member.html

I think you have a good chance, but the average SAT at Pomona is a little higher. If you can get 2100+ that would definitely help. One more thing that I also think would help would be to take a summer class (in addition to you business which is really cool!). Your local CC would be great, or if not there than summer@brown still has online courses open I believe.

I doubt I know any more or less than you but that’s my two cents :)
