<p>After visiting California, I have decided that Pomona is my dream school, although getting in there will probably be some what of a stretch. Please tell me what you think my chances are of getting in. Here's some info about me:</p>
<p>White male, from suburb outside of Boston MA.</p>
<p>GPA: 3.68 (UW)
SAT: 2000
ACT: not taken yet
SAT II: not taken yet
Have taken challenging classes through out high school, very few AP classes offered at my school however.</p>
<p>Extra Curriculars: Basketball four years, varsity two, cross country 4 years, (varsity two), varsity track two years.
-Founder of own community service project which provides aid to homeless in the area
-Founder of my own business which provides landscaping services and other unskilled labor..have made $15000 in four years (operating primarily in summer).
-Coordinator of Boston Food bank community service trips
-Peer tutor
-Coach/mentor for young basketball players locally
-Pianist
-Model UN
-School Newspaper Writer
-Online sports columnist (amateur website)
-Meditation/yoga class instructor.</p>
<p>School type: Large public school, very reputable-known as one of the best public schools in MA. 8 of the 11 applicants from my school have got in to Pomona in the past few years.</p>
<p>I will be applying Early decision, and I plan to interview. I am a rising senior.
