Chances of getting in to RUNB

I’ve been put on the waiting list currently for RUNB and I pretty worried about rejection since my family and I already have a plan for if I get in. My peers are confident that I will get in because my brother was able to get in and I supposedly did better in High School than him. I applied for the School of Arts and Sciences for Computer Science.

My SAT scores are 1100/1600. (560 for Math and 540 for English)
My current GPA weighted is 4.02. (Unweighted is 3.12) (I mix these up a lot so correct me if these don’t seem right.)
I took a total of 3 honors classes with varying grades.

I did few extracurricular activities freshman and little of sophomore year. Mainly cross country and choral. Later years I lacked in Ex. activities mainly because of personal troubles and I wanted to look into and practice art, programming, and music.

I applied for school of engineering as a backup and almost immediately got denied. I expected it for that school, but now I’m worried I won’t get in. If I do happen to get denied, is there any further action I could try or is it game over at that point?

Hi, I got waitlisted for the same exact major. The frustrating thing is I’ve seen people with scores around 1000 on the SAT get in. I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong, maybe it’s my extracurricular activities, but even at that I have a lot of activities. Last year a few people got off the waitlist so I wouldn’t give up yet. I think you have a good chance.
