I have an unweighted GPA of a 4.0 and a weighted GPA of about a 4.67. I am a junior now and I take 2 AP classes, 4 honors, and two other electives. I have a superscore of a 1890 on the SAT. I have run Indoor and Outdoor Track for 3 years and I will run in my senior year. I made varsity for Indoor Track for 3 years and probably will in my senior year. I have been in Spanish Club, NHS, Ambassador, and Interact. I have had a job since 10th grade. I have done over a 100 hours of community service. The summer before my junior year i want away to a business camp, PFEW, for a week at a near by college, Lycoming College. I was wondering what my chances are in getting in University of Michigan and I am thinking about majoring in engineering. Also, I am a girl and I know there has been a push for women in STEM majors, so maybe that would be to my advantage. Let me know what you think my chances are!
Are you in state?
Is it possible for you to take the SAT again?
I am in PA and yes, but they are changing them soon.
Yes - you need To add 200 to the SAT
Michigan out of state is incredibly competitive, so retaking the SAT before it changes is a good idea. Since you’re a junior, I believe most schools will still accept the old SAT.
I’m a senior and I applied early action to Michigan. I’m out of state! Could someone chance me?
