Applying Early decision as Villanova is my number one choice
My grandfather went to Villanova
I am a 17 year old white male, and I have also been confirmed in the Catholic Church
GPA: 6.2143 on a 6.0 weighted scale
RANK: 142/632 (choose not to include on transcript in hopes of i might get re ranked higher because my high school is very competitive)
SAT: 1360- 680 reading 680 math (hoping to raise score in August)
AP Classes: APUSH, AP environmental science, AP government, AP economics (got a 3 on ap world history test and ap us history test)
Worked at a pool last summer, interned at an oil company this summer, volunteering, created a CPR class for my friends and I, co-created a fundraiser to feed elementary school students that are on reduced lunch plans, involved in Young Life and I am a mentor to freshmen. 4 years of track and field. In national honors society.
Any feed back about my chances and what I should do to improve is greatly appreciated!
Oh and I’m planning on applying to the business school

“This year, we were fortunate to have received 22,727 applications (up 7.65% from last year’s previous high) for the enrollment goal of 1,670 first-year students.
• In its inaugural year, 24% of our entering class have been admitted through Early Decision
• 12,677 Early Action applications were submitted
• The overall 2018 admit rate is 28.8% (compared to 34.9% in 2017 and 43.2% in 2016)
• Middle 50% weighted GPA on a traditional 4.00 scale: 4.10-4.48
• Middle 50% SAT: 1380-1490 and middle 50% ACT: 32-34
• The more competitive programs were Biology, Business, Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience, and Nursing”
