I would love to attend Wharton at UPenn one day but I don't know what if I have what it takes. My unweighted GPA is 3.89, I'm a sophomore in a very selective Canadian Charter School for gifted education. I know that my chances are already slim as an international student but can you give me some tips or activities to start that will set me apart.

Academic endeavours:
-School trip to Washington D.C. to study the Holocaust for a Human Condition 15 class
-Oxford Royale Academy summer school at Oxford University (studied British history, international relations & politics)
-Entrepreneurship course outside of school
-Hip-op student mentor for junior high students (we educate them on topics such as the effects of stress, time management and mental illness).
-Fluent in Spanish
-Duke of Edinburgh's Award - Completed bronze, enrolled in silver.
In the coming years I plan to attend more summer pre-college programs, this time in america.

Activities:
-Golf, I already have one club championship and will compete in more tournaments this summer. I would like to be on Penn's women's team.
-Piano since age 4 (Royal Conservatory Grade 7 standard)
-Double Bass (RCM grade 9 standard)
-All music rudiments theory exams passed with first class honours. Music History 1 and Harmony 1 & 2.
-Mount Royal University Academy for Young Gifted Musicians
-My city's youth orchestra
-Irish dancing (attended North American Championships 3 times and our team won Western Canadian Championships. (I think this shows discipline and teamwork?)
-Regular Volunteering in school library, dance competitions, animal shelters, Instrumental society and Promusica.
-Mediator at Speech and Debate provincials this year

Grades this year:
classes go: 10,15,20,25,30,35. dash 1s are the highest available.
Math 10 -1: 90%
Social: 10 -1: 82%
English 10 -1: 88%
Science 10 -1: 82%
Human Condition 35 (grade 12 level): 94%
Career and life management 15: 85%
On my freshman provincial achievement tests I received excellence in English, Social and Science and above average in Math.
All classes are unfortunately advanced and enriched and I think my marks reflect that :( I work with a math tutor for 3 hours / week and expect to boost my marks for my 20-1 courses.
Next year I will be taking math 20 & 30 so I can so do AP calculus in my senior year.
as well as bio, physics and chem 20.

I would like to take Wharton's business economics and public policy undergraduate program with behavioural economics and advanced negotiations. My dad is high up in the banking and finance business and will start teaching me how to buy, trade and sell shares and stocks this summer. I don't know if this will help but I also have property in California so I am quite accustomed to life in the us. I'll be taking the SAT in spring next year but have been studying since ninth grade. I have a dual Canadian-UK citizenship as I lived in England for 8 years which I also think may set me apart as a global citizen. I am a caucasian female.
My reserve choice is the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
Please keep in mine I have 2 more years of high school to complete.
Thanks!
