<p>I started off a bit slow but my family has an Ivy tradition and wants me to continue it.</p>
<p>Freshman Year - 3.2 cumulative gpa
Sophmore Year - 4.0
Junior 1st semester - 4.0
All in most rigorous classes.
I took 2 APs my sophomore year and get 5s on both. I'm taking 4 APs at the moment.
ACT - 35</p>
<p>9th - 1 sport, 10th - 2 sports/varsity letters, 11th - I'll be getting 3 varsity letters.
Sec./President of local religious group (50ish members, held fundraiser for 1000~)</p>
<p>I feel that my subpar freshman year is gonna kill me, should I address this at all in my app or just ignore it?</p>

<p>I am not 100% sure, but I think Princeton ignores your freshman grades at least in some fashion.</p>
<p>You have the numbers and good, but not great, extracurriculars. Shoot for an excellent essay and you too can have a 5-10% chance of gaining admission.</p>

I actually just posted a quick rundown, but I can update my extracurriculars/achievements a bit.
-Broke school record in shotput/placed in states
-headed school’s debate team for 2 months
-volunteer at medical clinic
-humanitarian work in china with clinic
-varsity football/basketball as sophmore
-founded model UN in city
-president/sec. of local religious group.</p>
