What are my chances of getting in, i've already done an overnight, visited, and had 2 meetings with the admissions couselor for my state. The counselor for my region also has an established tie with my school, but he acted rather dissapointed when he learned i was in the second decile and kept encouraging me to apply ED saying that they definately accept people ED whom they would not accept if they applied regular.
My essay is well written and meaningful but nothing spectacular. Also, i have a learning disability so i was wondering if i should let my high school guidance couselor disclose it, she would probably show that i have done very well and overcome this huge obstacle, but at the same time they may expect me to do better on the SAT and tests because i have extended time, they may become prejudiced and think that i cannot handle the course work.

Maybe I should clarify, i'm applying ED 1 to Davidson.

I can't answer your question, but I know it is frustrating not to get any response. The thing is, no one outside the admissions committees can really can be definitive about these things; beyond numbers there are so many other factors, and the Chances threads over the past two years show that. On the numbers and activities you would seem to fit well, and Davidson does have a considerably higher acceptance rate ED than RD. Good luck!

Your ecs are definitely more impressive than mine were, and your grades seem to be good, especially since you took the hardest courses available. Davidson truly values well-roundedness and community service, and you seem to have done well in both. Mattmom's right, though; I've known far too many people rejected at Davidson and similar schools but accepted at schools like Duke, Yale, and Penn, so it really is impossible to predict.

Good luck, especially with the Belk!!! :)

I don't know about the Belk, but I'd say you have a pretty decent shot ED

Any more opinions? I've been reading the other posts of people applying to Davidson and it looks like we are really similiar. Is there anything that sets me apart?

nvm everyone, i got in ED 1, I can't wait to attend!!!
