Chances of Getting In?

<p>Hello! I am currently a junior at a Jesuit high school in NY. I'm extremely interested in Villanova, but I would like to know if I have a decent shot in getting in. My info is as follows:</p>

<p>Cumulative GPA: ~3.5
Junior Year GPA (Thus far): 3.6
Extra Curriculars:
Psychology Club
Bowling Team
Tutoring at the Boys and Girls Club of America for ~20 hours
Tutoring Mathematics for kids struggling with it at grammar school (plan on doing in Senior year)
Medical Science Club
Microfinance Club (Basically a club dedicated to fundraising)
Volunteer work at a hospital (~50 hours)
A Fundraiser for the Whitney Elementary School (a school for the homeless) - I have not done this yet, it will be done in January
President of the Food Science Club</p>

<p>SAT Score: I haven't taken it yet, but I'm shooting for around a 2000. </p>

<p>Honors/APs (and planning to take)
AP Calc (planning to take)
Geometry Honors
English Honors
AP English x2 (offered Junior and Senior year)
AP Spanish
I also took an enrichment course for Alg 2/Trig and was placed in Pre-Calc</p>

<p>Given all of this information, do you guys think I have a shot at Villanova? If it helps, I plan on a math/economics double major.</p>

<p>Did you apply EA? And if you get around a 2000, I’d say you have a decent chance. But I’m not a professional chancer or anything. I just applied to Nova too! It’s such a great school! Esp. for nursing :slight_smile: and business. But I applied for nursing. lol</p>

<p>Haha, I didn’t apply at all yet because I didn’t take any standardized test. I also don’t know if I want to definitely apply to Villanova. I’m also looking at Fordham University. Of course, I still need to visit both of them :stuck_out_tongue: If I decide to major in something business related, I’d probably pick Villanova, but if I want to become a lawyer, I’d go Fordham. I still need to apply to both though :P</p>

<p>Oh, gotcha… I heard Fordham is great for Pre-Law. You should apply to both. That way, you’ll have some options. Good luck!</p>
