I'm an early graduate, meaning I graduated in December.
In highschool I earned 9 credit hours as a dual credit student.

I plan on attending CC during the spring semester of 2012 & applying for transfer during that same semester (taking 13 credit hrs during spring semester, and 6 cr hrs during the summer of 2012)

The thing is, my highschool GPA was terrible because of my freshman/sophomore year and I never was able to get it back up :(

Do I have a chance of getting in? Please be honest!!!!

From what I hear regarding the raising of the bar at SMU, your tough years will definitely make it difficult. Knock it out of the park for your college grades as it can only help. ACT scores will also make a huge difference. Good luck!

^ agreed. SMU is raising the bar on their acceptances because now they can. Their latest class was quite a doozy as far as scores and such! Have a stellar college GPA because that will prove you can handle college courses! Write essays about that particular problem explaining it out. Come in for an interview if possible also! Anything to prove that you are really interested and have it together!
