Chances of getting in?

I'm a senior in high school my grades most definitely do not characterize who I am:

For Rutgers NB (only):

-1620 SAT score
-Resident of New Jersey
-Early Action application
-Come from a competitive/rich high school of New Jersey
-I'm Asian
-Honors classes: English 11(11th grade), Physics (11th), Environmental Science (12th), Chinese III (12th), Sociology (12th)
-No APs :(
ALOT of ECs

-Soccer for all four years (freshman, JV, Varsity)
-American Legion Jersey Boys State delegate
-Confucius Institute at Rutgers University scholarship recipient
-International exchange foundation
-National Student Leadership Conference
-Worked as a cashier freshman and sophomore year

-no financial aid
-good essay
-not applying to pharmacy, business, etc (applying for the easier ones ie. arts and sciences, engineering...)

REALLY would like to get in :/, do i have a good chance?

It depends on what school you’re after.
Look at this site to compare your stats.
[Rutgers Admissions | GPA’s and SAT’s of previously admitted students, by school](http://admissions.rutgers.edu/academics/admissionsprofile.aspx)

It says the ranges for them are at 3.1-3.8, and mines a 2.8…does this mean I’m screwed? or are there some people who got in with less than a 3.1 GPA?

25-75% were those in the 3.1 to 3.8, you’ll probably get in

Are you applying to SEBS as your third choice? It may have easier requirements. I think that your GPA and SAT scores make you a borderline candidate so have a Plan B.

Yea the three schools I have applied to are:

-school of arts and sciences in New Brunswick
-school of engineering
-school of environmental and biological sciences

you have a chance for sas and sebs, but engineering is out of the question…
good luck tho :)

Yea I figured the school of engineering would be a toughy :stuck_out_tongue: thanks for the feed back!
