Chances of getting in?

GPA - 3.70/4.00 (unweighted ) and 5.37/6.00 (weighted)

SAT - 2030 (R-690 M-680 W-660)

APs - World, Euro, Calc AB, US History, Lang, Stats, Music Theory, US Gov, Macroeconomics, Lit, and Physics C (pretty much every other class besides these were honors-level)

ECs - orchestra (all four years, violin), NHS (two years), Music Honor Society (two years, now an officer for this one), Math Honor Society (three years), and I've had a job since August (didn't know where else to put this)

Class Rank - top 15%

What are my chances? I've wanted to go to UF for pretty much as long as I can remember and I know it's kind of random with who gets in and who doesn't, so I was just wondering if anyone could give me any insight? Also, if the honors college would possibly consider me as well? Thanks so much!!!!!!!

If you were in the top 10% of your class I would say you were definitely in, but top 15% means you have a great shot, but you shouldn’t be overly confident that you’ll get in. The honors program invites you if you have a 2070 SAT and a 4.0 weighted GPA, but since your SAT is a few points shy of that you can petition to get in by writing a haiku and some essays.

Thanks @ipodsinger :)

You’re in. Enjoy your senior year.

50/50 shot at honors college

I worried way too much about college acceptances and it stressed me out, don’t make the same mistake.
