What are my chances?
Would it be lower since im applying OOS?

Here is a link to calculate your UC GPA. You can only use AP classes 10-11th for the extra honor points in the calculation. If you a Full Pay, you will have a better chance for an acceptance however; OOS stats are also higher.

my UC GPA is a 3.75 so I dont know how much that helps my cause
Also my first semester grades are in and I got 4 A’s and 2 B+'s so would that help in any way?
Another question, do the number of people applying from your state factor in to admissions into UCSB, since there aren’t that many people from my state applying to UCSB. @NCalRent hopefully they do, I know on March 16th :)>-
Applicants find out if they got accepted to UCSB on March 16th, UC Berkeley on March 26th (The school I have no chance of getting into), and both UCLA and UC Irvine on March 31st
@awesomeguy I got an invitation to the reception thing and a Regents Scholarship which means I’m unofficially accepted. ( At the reception they announce your acceptance)
Also do people who didnt go to the reception get an email that stated that they got the Regents scholarship, or do I have to wait for 2 more weeks to find out LOL
@miahun sorry for the barrage of posts but was there a separate application for the regents scholarship or was that scholarship solely based on your application?
The reception didn’t happen yet. It’s starting next week. ( You can only attend if you are invited ).
And I got my Regents scholarship notice through mail. I got it like two days ago or something. And it’s solely based on your application. They look at your test scores. For UCSD I think it was 2200+ SAT, but idk about UCSB. ( I got 2250 on mine.)
