<p>I finished my app just last week and im wondering what others think my chances of getting into gettysburg are?</p>
<p>GPA(unweighted): 3.46(going to drop after this semester to a 3.4 or so. My grades dropped this semester and im getting a 3.0 or sowhich is bad but im taking 4 AP's)
GPA(weighted):4.07(going to stay about the same after this semester)
SAT: Math-660, Critical Reading-720, Writing- 640
SAT2: US history-770, World History-700
Recomendation: a smoking recomendation from my AP US history teacher who is also the head of our schools history department
School: I go to a Public High School in Maryland
Extracuriculars: President of Schools Model UN club, Play Trumpet in various school bands</p>

<p>Hi biliouspigeon! I'm an international student from Vietnam. I'm going to apply to Gettysburg for ED 2. I hope to receive need-based aid from the school because my family can only contribute a maximum of 2000$ to 3500 $ per year.
I have taken the SAT with Cr 530, Wr 600 ( essay 8) and 710 for Math.
I will take the TOEFL on October 12th.; my Gpa is 8.5/10.0 with no class rank (school in Vietnam don't have this rank)
My activities: 2 years experienced as a volunteer at handicapped children center Morning Star.
PR online leader and a tour guide of Hanoi Flash organization, hosted by students like me to volunteer to offer free tour guide for foreigners in Hanoi and its outskirt.

<p>Do you think I have chances to get into Gettysburg with financial package?
I will retake the SAT this November and take two SAT II subject tests.</p>

<p>Gettysburg is pretty tough to get in too but I think you have a good chance to get in. I did ED, and got wait listed have 620's across the board and a 3.5 gpa with a lot of extra-curriculars. I than said I did not want to attend Gettysburg due to financial problems at home, I attend Rutgers now, but plan on trying to transfer to Gettysburg for my sophomore year.</p>
