Chances of Getting In...

Back story: 8th grade, applied for Exeter only, rejected because I was arrogant and lazily thought I could get in.
Private Catholic high school--until now, at 16, where my parents decided to move to New Zealand. So I'm at an all-girls "college" (St Cuthbert's College), and I really don't think it's improving my chances for an Ivy.
What are my chances of getting into a place like Choate and etc if I'm 16? Btw, my dad still has a house in the States, so would I be classified as an international student?

Thanks so much!

You apply as an international student if you are currently living outside the US. Generally speaking of course, but that's what we were told by Deerfield if my son wanted to apply to Deerfield during his year abroad. I'm sure that has to do with how they handle the application, as opposed to filling slots in the class for internationals.

I imagine each school is different in just what they do.

My son has two classmates from NZ at NMH. One just started as a junior.
