Chances of getting in??

<p>I'll be applying for the UMich engineering school and wanted to know my chances of getting in. I'm also an OOS from iowa</p>

<p>Stats-
female
ACT-30.. plan on taking again in september
GPA-3.97 of 4 unweighted.. HS doesn't calculate weighted
HS also offers no Honors or AP classes
Rank-top 2% of class of 150
currently have about 12 hours of college credit done and 10 more hours my senior year
60 hours of communtity service from varies places, hospitals, children with disabilites, tutoring, over seas communty service while traveling

<p>I think you have a good chance. It’s not 100% because you’re OOS, but you have a great chance, just apply early.</p>

<p>they’re getting more selective by the year, especially since more in-state kids are going to michigan over places like northwestern because of costs. you do fit what they’re looking for in terms of stats. you have a good chance.</p>

<p>What was your math ACT btw? They look at that as well for engineering.</p>

<p>Actually Michigan’s acceptance rate rose by 8 % for the class of 2013. Mainly because of the economic crisis. </p>

<p>I think your chances are very good. I’d say Match. Engineering acceptance rate is 54%, Average GPA is 3.9 and Average ACT is 31. Even if you are out of state, I don’t see a reason why they should reject you.</p>
