<p>they’re getting more selective by the year, especially since more in-state kids are going to michigan over places like northwestern because of costs. you do fit what they’re looking for in terms of stats. you have a good chance.</p>
<p>Actually Michigan’s acceptance rate rose by 8 % for the class of 2013. Mainly because of the economic crisis. </p>
<p>I think your chances are very good. I’d say Match. Engineering acceptance rate is 54%, Average GPA is 3.9 and Average ACT is 31. Even if you are out of state, I don’t see a reason why they should reject you.</p>
