Chances of getting in

<p>i was wondering wat u guys thing are my chances of getting into Columbia</p>

<p>GPA 4.6
Class rank: 28 (nationally ranked high school, 2nd best in NC)</p>

<p>SAT
ENG:660
Math:690
Writing: 640
Chem:650
Math II: 720</p>

<p>classes taken by graduation:
AP Physics
AP Psychology
AP Government
AP English IV
AP Environmental
AP Chem
AP Statistics
AP English III</p>

<p>took AP Calculus AB and BC sophomore year
so i am currently taking Calculus III at local university</p>

<p>extracuriculars:
NHS
Math Honor Society
Men's Track and Field
over 100 hours of community service
Spanish Club
Key Club</p>

<p>honestly, wat do u think? I'm thinking of not applying but not sure if i should.</p>

<p>well you have a hard class load which is really good and fairly good test scores ( i got the exact sam on my SAT subject tests) and you have a variety of ec but not too much leadership which might hurt you but i think you still have a really good chance especiallyif you have a good essay and letters of rec</p>

<p>SAT is low. Consider retaking.</p>

<p>ECs have no leadership. Might be too late to fix that.</p>

<p>I’d say 10% chance of getting in.</p>

<p>how many people are in your class?</p>

<p>honestly, i think your chances are pretty slim. your SAT scores are low and your ECs don’t show real passion for anything. a lack of leadership also weakens your case.</p>

<p>my suggestions would be to take the SAT again, to write a killer essay and ask for recs from teachers who know you really well</p>

<p>Slim slim chance…you have to lift your SATs AND get some more amazing ECs, and then get a hook. And THEN you’ll have an average chance.</p>
