Not very many APs being offered, but I am taking 1 this year (English). I will take more next year. I am also taking one dual credit class (Accepted - most in state schools.) Other classes are honors unless they are not offered as honors, dual, or AP.

Chances for UT Austin, USC, UCSD, Military Academies, Stanford, John's Hopkins

My GPA is based on a 4.0 scale

I don't want to sound like a broken record, but I don't think your chances at JHU and Stanford are too strong. I have not read too deeply into Military Academies, but from what I hear, they are very prestigious as well (I don't know how they compare to JHU and Stanford exactly).
Don't let this discourage you though. You still have an entire year to prepare for your SATs and you can even try the ACTs. Good luck and don't let anyone discourage you from applying to your dream schools.

P.S.- I don't think you need to work on your EC's any more. Instead, try to raise your exam scores and keep up your good grades. Good luck!!

You've got the quality....just some more work on SAT's.

i recommend McGraw Hill's prep books. Barron's are also good.

if you try, you will have a decent shot at JHU.

I would aim for 2100+ and 220+ if possible (for easy get-in)

Raising your SAT score does not mean an "easy get-in"...especially for JHU, where test scores matter little in the admissions process.

You're only going to be a junior? That's plenty of time to polish you up for the schools that you want to attend. I think so anyway.

Study hard this year, build up your resume, and have fun. In the end, it'll all pay off. Check your chances again next summer. Hopefully, things will look up. :)
