<p>I'm looking to apply to Stanford, Duke, Georgetown, North Carolina, Virginia, UCLA, and Washington (University of...)</p>
<p>If you could tell me what you think my chances are of getting into any of these colleges, the help would be greatly appreciated. If you don't think my chances are good, could you provide a short explanation as well? </p>
<p>Basic information:
-Male
-Caucasian
-Public high school</p>
<p>Grades/Academics:
-Unweighted GPA: 4.0
-Weighted GPA: No clue, but I have taken as many IB classes as possible.
-Course: Have taken the most rigorous schedule possible since my freshman year. Currently, this includes 6 IB classes, 7 classes overall.
-Academic awards: Academic All-American, Honor Roll (entire high school career for both)</p>
<p>Tests:
-SAT: 2100; CR: 650, M: 690, W: 760
-SAT II's: Haven't taken them yet. Going to take U.S. History, Literature, and Math II; will do decent, not great, on all of them.</p>
<p>Extracurricular:
-Speech and Debate: Three years/qualified for NFL National Debate Tournament, treasurer
-Newspaper: Two years/"Features" page editor, editor in chief
-Student Government: Two years/junior class senator, executive "communications director"
-National Honor Society: Three years/vice president (two years)</p>
<p>Volunteering/Work Experience:
-Volunteering for future Congressman Denny Heck: Hope to get around 100 hours
-Volunteering at local food bank: 50 hours
-Volunteering at outdoor learning center: 60 hours
-Worked as Washington State Senate Page</p>
<p>Miscellaneous:
-Dad attended Georgetown
-Plan on applying as Political Science/Public Policy major</p>
