Hello, this is my first time posting on this website so I am not quite sure if my question is relevant to this specific forum.. I am currently a Sophomore in high school and I have recently talked with my counselor about college and grades. As of now, it looks like I will end with a 4.12 Cumulative GPA (weighted) senior year. I received two D's first semester this year (one in AP Biology and the other in Honors Algebra 2/Trig, because I had a terrible teacher). However, I am going to take summer school for the math course. I have taken 3 AP classes so far (APES, AP Bio, and APWH). I did not do well on the APES exam, and I am well aware that it is probably one of the easiest AP tests. I haven't taken the AP Bio or APWH exam yet, but the chances of getting a 3 on the AP Bio exam is slim. Last year as a freshman I ended with a 4.15 first semester and a 4.00 second semester (weighted). I have taken ASB since 8th grade and joined Cross Country and Track this year. I am not doing athletics next year, but I am planning to take Honors Anatomy, AP Lang, AP US History, ASB, Spanish 3, and Pre-Calc. I was apart of Key Club last year and currently am apart of Octagon Club and National Honors Society. I am also joining Link Crew next year as well. I am going to volunteer at a local hospital this summer for community service because I am interested in the field of nursing. My extracurriculars seem to be good, but I was wondering what my chances are of getting into a UC school in California. I was aiming for UC Berkeley or UCSB or even UCLA.. Please be honest and speak from experience (:
