Chances of getting into a good school, possibly University of Chicago!??,

I'm a sophomore in high school and I'm trying to get my act together. I messed up freshman year pretty bad with bad grades, and it's second semester and I'm trying to get good grades. I was diagnosed with ADD after freshman year, and when I take my medicine I'm good at school, but if I forget to take it one day, and say that's the day we're starting something new, then I get kind of screwed. Another thing, probably the worst, is that I have a ten day suspension on my record....for drug paraphernalia :\ I'm pretty sure I'll probably get kicked out of scholastic bowl for that....even if I get all good grades junior/senior year plus this last semester and get a good score on the ACT I won't get into University of Chicago, right? And I won't be able to become a doctor either...? Or if you have any advice, please reply. Please and thank you!

your vague info with no real numbers on ACT or GPA is impossible to chance. You can be a doctor without getting into UChicago…

Here’s a small hint of hope: colleges like upward trends.

University of Chicago isn’t going to like any drug-related suspensions. Chances aren’t looking so hot right now :(
