I have a 3.4 GPA, I got a 1,130 on my SAT, and I got a 22 on my ACT. I have taken dual credit English junior and senior year. I have also taken 4 AP classes and all of my other classes that aren’t electives are upper level courses. Now obviously my scores are not ideal, but they have gained me automatic admission into Texas State and Sam Houston. I’ve done theatre all four years, volunteered about 400 hours from sophomore to senior year, earned my blackbelt, served on my church’s youth leadership team, and had two jobs (not simultaneously). I am planning on majoring in sociology.

@victoria17 I love all of your ECs! You sound like an awesome future Aggie. If you want an honest chance me reply, I would say that based on the whole picture, you could possible get blinn team or gateway. My daughters rank was higher but score lower and she got PSA a couple of years ago. If your essays really stand out then I think you will fair better than that! Good luck girl and keep us posted!!!
