I waitlisted for computer science data structures, number 15 on the list, web design number 1 on the list and linear algebra number 8 on the list. What are my chances of actually getting into these classes? This is my first semester at NYU. Thanks !
Last semester (Spring 2018) I got off one waitlist at 7 and one waitlist at 35 (although that’s rare). I’ll say you’re really really likely to get into that web design class and probably pretty likely to get into linear algebra. But even if you don’t, it’s your first semester! You have plenty of time to take all the classes you need, hence why Freshman register last.
