Hello.
I am a senior and just turned in my application couple weeks ago and was curious on my chances. I have a 1810 sat score, with a super score of 1820 ( I don't think they look at superscore anyway.) For extracirculars I could go into depth of each volunteer experience but I have about 750 volunteering hours overall. From Redcross, boysgirlsclub, library, tutoring and volunteering two summers in Iran. My 10-11 cumaltive weighted gpa is a 3.92. However my UC gpa goes to only a 3.64 since they only give you up to eight points for honors/aps when i took more. My UW without PE i believe is a 3.27. I have passed three Ap tests: Ap world, Ap english language and Ap psychology. I am planning on taking two Ap tests this year too. Sophmore year I took two Ap classes, the rest were advanced and for Junior year I took two Aps and three honors. I did sports every year in high school also.
So overall stats of 1810 sat, 3.92 W gpa and 3.64 UC, 750 hours of volunteering; what are my chances?
Thank you, I apologize for the bad grammar. Happy Christmas eve

Intended major?

Biology; and for most schools my back up is economics, since i know biology is a tough major

Chances for Biology::
Econ is still competitive for the UC’s and SLO so I think your chances would be similar.

SLO: Reach (will only accept one major no alternate, so Biology has about an 18% acceptance rate)
UCB/UCLA/UCSD: Reach
UCI/UCSB/UCD: Low Reach
UCSC: High Match
UCR/UCM/SDSU: Match

UC GPA/SAT scores below average for all but UCR/UCM/UCSC. If you have outstanding essays and EC’s, they may give you a boost to make some of those low reaches a high match. Good Luck.
