I applied EA to Boston College and am waiting to hear back. I have a 3.9 weighted GPA and a 28 on the ACT. I am a legacy applicant and my brother currently attends BC. I have decent EC’s and a great essay. I had open heart surgery and I did a good job on the essay explaining the obstacle I had to overcome. I am lacking in AP classes but my strength of schedule is by no means weak. Obviously my GPA and test scores are below the average, but do you still think I have a legitimate chance? Thanks!
Which school did you apply to? Did both of your parents attend BC? If you are a legacy you automatically have an advantage. Even more so if you are a double legacy, as BC does take legacy into good consideration. Although your stats are slightly under I believe that it could be the kick to get you accepted.

I applied to arts and sciences
@Bball12345621 What was the admission decision? I applied to BC early actions just like you with similar stats.
