Chances of Getting Into Boston University?

Hello all, I am just wondering if I possibly had a chance to get into BU. I am going to be applying next year, and graduating in 2015. I have a 3.7 GPA, 1780 on the SAT and involved in multiple extracurricular activities. I will be looking to go into the Pre-Med program they have to offer at Sargent, and I was just wondering my chances. If anyone would get back to me ASAP that would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
CMorelli

Raise your SAT score to a 2000+. Then your chances will be better.

UPDATE:

I have just received my first marking period report card, and my average is a 95.5 which is equivalent to a 4.0 GPA. Does this make my chances any better?

Usually colleges get the transcript including only the final year grades. Thus, only the grades through junior year are sent to colleges. If you want BU to consider first quarter senior year or mid year grades, you may need to specifically ask your high school send those to BU if they don’t do so automatically. You should talk to your guidance counselor and ask what s/he can do to help. But your grades aren’t bad to begin with. Hopefully you have challenged yourself in your choice of classes.
