Depends on major. However, that ACT score is prettty low for BU. Overall, I would say that BU would be a reach for you.

BU class of 2022 average ACT for admitted students was 32. Class of 2021 middle 50 percentiles for enrolled students was 29-32. With a 24, BU would be a very high reach.
When it comes to standardized tests and top schools like BU (which had a 22% admit rate last year and may well dip into the teens this year), conventional wisdom says that a high score won’t get you in, but a low score will keep you out. Unless you have some kind of hook that you haven’t told us about, I think it’s extremely unlikely that you will be admitted to BU with a 24 ACT score.
