Chances of getting into Bowdoin?

I know I’m only a junior but Bowdoin is my top choice and I want to know what my chances are currently.

Freshman: No AP classes offered
Pre-AP English I (A), German I (A), PE (A), Biology (B), OK History (A), US Government (A), Geometry (A)

Sophomore: AP US History (A) (4/5 on AP Test) other AP classes were offered that I was not aware of -_-
German II (A), Pre-AP Chemistry (A), Music History (A), Pre-AP English II (A), Algebra II (A), Photography (A)

As a junior, I’m taking IBHL English Lit (B), IBSL German I (A), IBSL World Religions (A), AP Physics I (A), Italian I (A), IBSL Math Studies (A), IBSL World History (A), and TOK (A)

and next year I’ll be taking IBHL English Lit II, IBSL German II, IBHL Physics, AP Calc, AP Stat, IBHL Asian History, IBHL European History, and TOK.

Extracurriculars:

Rowing (since 8th grade, plan to say until senior year)
National Honors Society
Teen Advisory Board

SAT:

On my last practice test, I got a 1270 with 590 on math and 680 on R&W. However, this was two months ago. I’m taking my first official SAT in December.

ACT:

Sophomore year I got a 23 on the Pre-ACT.

I’m a white dude, but my dad is Jewish and my mom is Catholic. I’m a Unitarian.

I would appreciate any help. Thanks!!

Forgot to mention my GPA. Unweighted I have an average of 3.9 unweighted and 4.08 weighted.

It’s too soon to chance you. You have a good academic program, but need something to differentiate yourself from the thousands of other qualified applicants. Your family and religion will neither help nor hurt you. Your test scores won’t but of course you don’t have to report them.

Your GPA is great. Your test scores are low but it’s too soon to tell how they pan out with the real tests. Nothing in your EC’s stands out as described – you’ll need to figure out what you push to differentiate yourself in your apps. If your test scores don’t improve apply without sending them as they’re optional at Bowdoin. And if it’s your clear #1 choice apply ED as it does help.

Your stats are great. I have seen students with nothing but A’s be turned down at Bowdoin (in one case with 1450 SAT), and seen one student with half A’s and half B’s get accepted with 1100 SAT. The students were in all of the same classes so class rigor was not an issue. As such I think that you have a decent chance but you definitely need to consider other schools as well.

Thanks, @citivas !! I’m thinking about applying for team captain for my rowing team next year but other than that it’s a little difficult to find things to differentiate my self in Oklahoma.
