Chances of getting into BU

<p>I've applied early decision to BU and i just want to know what other people think my chances are</p>

<p>GPA unweighted: 3.7
GPA weighted: 4.2 (will be higher by end of year)
ACT: 27
current Honors/AP classes:
anatomy and physiology Honors
Physics 1 Honors
AP chemistry
economics honors
AP literature</p>

<p>I have been in women's student union, am currently in international students club and Beta club which is an honors club in which you do community service etc.
I volunteered at a soup kitchen this summer and have volunteered by doing child care during PTA meetings
I've worked as a babysitter since 7th grade for many families in my neighborhood
i have been playing violin since i was 2 1/2 and have been in orchestra all 4 years as well as attended many fine arts camps etc.</p>

<p>My essays were strong and I had 2 very strong letters of recommendations.</p>

<p>I also have visited the campus attending an information session and a tour of the campus. I then drove from Maine to speak with an admissions director to lay out exactly what i needed to do to get in I have been in contact with a professor there and I think my essay about BU really exemplifies my knowledge and dedication to the school.</p>

<p>You have a decent shot at getting in. Your GPA is worrying me though, but you won’t have much of a problem. </p>

<p>Thanks for chancing me! Since you applied early, with all things considered, I think you have a nice shot of getting in :slight_smile: ACT and UW GPA are a tad low, but with good essays and strong LOR, you are competitive! Good luck :)</p>
