Chances of getting into Cal Poly SLO as a Communication major?

<p>Thinking I'll be applying next year, since this year I highly doubt I'll be competitive.</p>

<p>Stats:</p>

<p>-Cuesta student
-Current transferable GPA: 3.08
-GPA by application date of Nov 2015: 3.3
-AA-T in Communication Studies.
-By the time I apply I will have taken all required courses, as well as the desired courses: Interpersonal Comm, Multicultural Comm, Organizational Comm, a Lit class, World Civ, and a second Math class. The only of the desired course I won't have completed is Forensic Activity, because it's not offered anywhere around here. </p>

<p>Anyone have thoughts on this? Anything else I can do to make myself a stronger candidate? I know my GPA will only be so-so.</p>

<p>Also should have added: All my CSUGE is done, but my IGETC still needs Spanish 2 and an Art class.</p>
