Chances of getting into Cal Poly Slo for Nutrition?

I really want to go to Cal Poly Slo for Nutrition. Here are my stats so far. What are my chances of getting in?

SAT: 1080 (570 R&W and 510 Math)
GPA: 4.17 W and 3.6 UW

I just took the SAT the second time on June 2nd. I’m going to be a senior.

Other schools I’m looking at is PLNU, Berkely, Pepperdine and Davis.

Cal poly SLO uses 9-11th grades with a cap of 8 semesters of honors points for AP/IB/DE and UC approved honors courses for their GPA calculation. Your SAT is on the low side for the college with an average 1315 so hopefully your retake will be within range.
SLO is possible but no guarantees.

UCD will also be a stretch and UCB a definite Reach.

Best of luck.

Thank you! I’ve taken 4 AP classes so far and 4 dual enrollment college classes.

Last year, SLO had a predicted acceptance rate for Nutrition around 43% so not too bad odds for SLO.
I do not have an statistical data about Nutrition for UC Davis, the campus wide UC GPA average was 4.10 and average SAT was 1310. Hope you show improvement on your 2nd SAT score.

Also make sure you have a solid safety school on your list and are willing to attend. Your local CSU might be an option.

Another good CSU option for you to consider is Cal Poly Pomona,
who have a at least two options in Nutrition Sciences.
