Chances of getting into Cal Poly?

I was wondering what by chances of getting into Cal Poly SLO as a Architectural Engineering Major are. It's my dream school and I just wondered where I stand as of right now. (Going into senior year)

GPA: Weighted 4.0 Non-weighted: somewhere in the 3.7-3.8 range
(I've taken Architectural Design and Computer Aided Design to show I'm interested in the major and have taken advanced math classes i.e. Pre-Calc Honors, AP Calc)

ACT scores:
English: 26
Math: 28
Reading: 22
Science: 33
Combined English/Writing: 27
Essay: 10
Composite: 27

SAT scores:
Reading: 600
Writing: 610
Math: 690

Extra:
I work 10-20 hours a week at the South Tahoe Public Utility District as a Laboratory Aide.
I'm part of the National Honors Society.
I started my own band that writes original material and just finished recording an EP in our school's new recording studio.
I've haven't done much volunteer work but my band has helped put on 2 Boys and Girls Club benefit concerts and I volunteer at Clean Tahoe (cleans up trash, helps less fortunate families, basically benefits the community) occationally

Also, please let me know what I could improve.
Thank you for your help.

Hi, I have a friend that goes to Cal Poly SLO. She got in with a 3.6 gpa but with a higher SAT score somewhere above 2000.

She’s on the phone with me right now, and she says that you have a good shot of getting in. But im pretty sure you know that architecture is a highly esteemed program at SLO so it will be impacted heavily (possibly more than the other engineering majors).

Maybe you could try to improve your ACT scores a little. That would help. She is an engineering major at SLO by the way who will start her junior year so she knows what shes talking about.

I think you will get in too by the way.

Thank you.
I’m taking the ACT again on the 8th and the SAT again on 10/6 so hopefully I can improve both.
Thanks again for the input. I really appreciate it

No problem, It would also be helpful if you listed what AP’s you took. SLO looks heavily into the classes you took in high school (more so even than overall GPA sometimes). I see that you have delved into your field of Architectural Engineering so that would help tremendously, but taking AP’s such as physics, chemistry, and calculus would help as well. In her case she took AP’s in computer science, physics and literature. The computer science and physics must have helped her chances drastically since they directly relate to her major.

Alright.
I’ve taken AP Chem, AP World History, AP English Language, and Pre-Calc Honors and I’m taking AP Calc and AP Lit this year first term.
I’m also taking Advanced Computer Aided Drawing which isn’t an AP course but is still a challanging class.
We don’t have AP Computer Sciences or AP Physics at my school unfortunately

Not to worry, the Chemistry class along with the Calc will be more than enough. As long as they see you are interested in your major you should be fine. Plus, although your major is impacted you seem like a great candidate given they school is basically an engineering school. The other majors , excluding business and a select few are not very impacted.

Alright. Thank you very much! You’ve helped a lot

I live over by this college and many of my friends have got accepted there (for cilil to EE to architecture) they did not have as good of a GPA as you. I do not know much about the architectual engineering program here but all I have heard from it is that it is one of the worst majors you can go into. Architecture is extreemly good at Cal Poly though. Just thought I would let you know.

Why is it one of the worst?
