Chances of getting into Carleton

I'm a Minnesota junior with a 3.6 GPA
I have not taken the ACT yet but my score is expected to be at least 30 based off of practice tests.
I take all the AP and Honors courses I can fit in my schedule and the only exam I've taken so far was USH and I got a 5.
I'll be taking CIS German next year and have been involved in band every year and at least 1 band EC every year.
To me, the biggest thing I have going for myself is my involvement in FIRST robotics.
I have been involved every year and have loved it. I'm now a captain of my FRC team and have developed many great networks through the program. I'm also obsessed with science and I started a science club at my high school to spread my passion and interest. I plan on majoring in physics with emphasis on astronomy/astrophysics.

So, what are my chances?

Match if ACT score is give or take 2
10 char

31+ for it to be a match…

It is tough with a 3.6 GPA. My older kid (from MN) had a 3.6 a couple of years ago, and was waitlisted. I just checked Naviance for our school, and 3.6 with a 30 ACT was typically a waitlist. My kid never got off the waitlist in spite of making a serious effort to do so. Of course, your high school school might be different, so the Naviance might look better or worse. The higher your test scores, the better your chances. And if you can show really good grades this next semester (spring of junior year) and in the fall, that would help.
