Chances of getting into Case Western Reserve University?

Hi, I am a high school senior and I really like Case Western! Case is probably my top choice and I want to know what my odds of getting in are:

Like i said before Case Western is a top choice for me, I really want to know my odds of being accepted. I intend to enter on a Pre-med track and am still undecided about my major (definitely a biological/chemical science type major though). Thanks!

You’re in. Case would love you. Great numbers, solid ECs, and you play sports. Chance me back for Dartmouth?

Thanks! Yes will chance back for Dartmouth!

Any Other Responses??

Your numbers look good! Make sure to show interest…this goes a long way at Case. Visit, interview, attend your school’s regional admission counselor session, contact your regional rep, etc…Case wants to know your interest level and that you’re not using it as a safety.
Good luck!

Thanks! Yea i have met with my regional rep when he visited my HS and plan on visiting in the near future!

Any more answers? Will definitely chance back!!

As someone who lives near CWRU and knows quite a few CWRU students, I feel the need to inform you that the acceptance rate is 51%. This, combined with your excellent statistics, should make you feel confident in getting into CWRU. I hope this helps and good luck!

Also, would you mind chancing back?
Title of my thread:
Yet another chance post. Check it out, maybe?

Actually, the acceptance rate this year was 39%…

The acceptance rate has been decreasing over the past few years and if anything it will be even lower this year because Case is beginning to become a more competitive school. I feel like this year will be much more difficult to gain acceptance as opposed to maybe 2-3 years ago.

Sdgal2 and HsKid159, My apologies! The last I had heard, the rate was 51%. Thank you for bringing the change to my attention. Nonetheless, I would still consider Case as a relative match. Despite becoming more and more competitive, Case puts a lot of weight on solid ECs and especially major-related internships at recognized institutions (ex, a hospital, a University, etc.) Good luck!

Bump…

Will Chance Back!

I think you have a very good chance of being accepted. Perhaps you have a shot at merit-based awards too. Case is a great school. Good luck!

Appreciate it Thanks!
