Chances of Getting into Chapman?

Im very strongly considering Chapman, but I am very anxious that i won’t get in. I have an unweighted GPA of 3.54 and ACT of 29. I know my GPA is not very high because i did slip for a bit which i do touch in on of my essays, and all there is great improvement in my grades from one semester to another. I did get into LMU which makes me a little more hopefully. My current major is undecided.

For anyone who does come across this, I was waitlisted for fall 2017, and accepted for spring 2018.

again, for anyone who does come across this in the future, I was called today by the admissions office and told i was accepted for fall. I filled out the form to be on the waitlist very quickly and was in contact with the admission counselor multiple times before today which i dont think hurt. good luck to all future applicants!

Did you take any AP classes? What sort of extra curricular activities, leadership, etc did you share with chapman.
I have a similar GPA and will apply next year for fall 2018. Thanks in advance for your feedback. Good luck

@ccooke925 I took three ap classes during high school, ap chemistry and ap language and composition my junior year, and ap calc ab my senior year. I was also apart of the school soccer team for two years and played outside of school, and was also apart of two clubs. good luck next year. It seems that the school is getting more and more competitive each year, but thankfully for me they accepted more students that normal this year. Make sure you continue to take challenging classes and work hard during your senior. I think that for me showing a lot of improvement from my junior to senior really helped.

Transfer to Chapman University: What are my chances?

Hell, I am currently finishing my last semester (hopefully) at community college. I would like to transfer to Chapman as a Biology major with a minor in business, however my gpa is a bit low for my expectations at a 3.1 at the time of transfer. Is this too low to get in. I’m really nervous about applying because of this. Thank you!
