I am a senior at my high school and I was wondering what my chances were of getting accepted at Clemson based on the following:

I am a South Carolina Resident
My unweighted GPA is a 3.26 out of 4.0
My weighted GPA is a 3.9
I am 23 out of 131 (top 18%)
ACT Composite score of 26

While your class rank is good, our GPA is not very good and your ACT is on the low side. I’d say Clemson would be a reach for you.

My daughter is a senior and applied to Clemson early August. Below are her stats. Are her chances with some kind of merit scholarship good?

SC Resident
Weighted GPA 4.56
ACT 28 (Although this came after she applied in Nov.)
Previous ACT 27 (When she applied)
Class Rank 61/840 (Top 7%)
4 AP’s (Science ,Math & Lit)
17 Honors

National Beta Club
4 Year Varsity Lacrosse Player
PLTW/Engineering Camp Counselor

If you’re in-state, isn’t there a LIFE scholarship or Palmetto Fellows scholarship that you can get? (I’m not from South Carolina). Your daughter will be eligible for an additional $1,000 from Clemson though.
