Chances of getting into CSULB/UCI/SDSU?

I’m going to be a senior this August and wanted to see what I can improve on to increase my chances of getting accepted. I’m planning on majoring into Health Science.

California resident
By the end of senior year, I would have 3 APs, 11 honors, and 3 community college classes.
GPA: 3.45 (unweighted)/4.00 (weighted)
In the top 10% of my class
SAT Score: 990/1600 (plan on taking again)
ACT Score: (hasn’t come in yet)

Extracurricular activities:
Freshman year - chess club member
Junior year - key club member, AVID club junior president, Pre-eucharist class TA/teacher
Senior year- key club secretary, AVID club president, church class TA/teacher, currently trying for volleyball

I have roughly 80 hours of community service

I transferred in the middle of sophomore year. Old school barely had any clubs, no sports, but had a dual credit system.

If you got accepted into these schools, please tell me your scores and extracurricular activities!! Thank you!!

What’s your UC/CSU GPA? 3 honors/AP year long classes are worth 6 honors points. Look up your GPA with rogerhub or csumentor calculator.

Points are capped at 8 honors points, or 4 year long AP or honors classes.

My UC/CSU GPA is 3.91.

CSU/UC GPA looks a little high for having a 3.45 UW GPA unless this GPA is 9-11th.

UCI: Low Reach (average SAT around 1250) Definitely want to bump up your scores.

For SDSU/CSULB, they base their admissions on your intended major and eligibility index.

EI= (CSU GPA X 800) + ( SAT Math + CR). Based on posted stats, your EI is 4118. This puts in you range for SDSU and above the range for CSULB.

SDSU: Match-High Match (depending upon major)
CSULB: Match

I would add at least one safety school (local CSU) and may 2 more match schools to your list (Cal state Fullerton, San Jose State, Cal poly Pomona, Cal State Northridge, LA to name a few).
