Chances of getting into Deerfield Choate Taft Berkshire Loomis Chaffe or NMH

Hi I was wondering what my chances would be to get into these prep schools. I have not taken the SSAT yet and will take it once next month and then again in December. I have played soccer since i was in 3rd grade and do very good in it. I am president of the National Junior Honors Society chapter of my school and I am also the head of several community service committees. I love service work and go on a mission trip at least once a year. I have gotten straight A's for the past several years and I have won the Science award and the Spanish award for my school. I have a passion for languages and would love to take more than one in prep school. I have also been selected to be on the leadership comity for my church mission trip. I also run 5 k's on the weekends to support local charities and I devote an hour a day to training for them. I scored vary well when I took the SAT for duke tip. I was chosen as the most dedicated player on my basketball team. I also participate in the theater. If you need more info it is in a list bellow. Also, If you have any inside knowledge on these schools feel free to comment about that as well.

Please help as much as you can!

Also I have taken Spanish since pre K. Thanks for any help you can offer.

You look like you’ve got a chance. But, like everyone will say, no one really knows. I would focus on the community service, because it sounds like you are really into it and schools loooovvvveee to see things like that. This is MY opinion, so if you don’t feel like doing that, don’t let me sway you. Good luck.

“I take all AP classes…interning at my congressman’s office over christmas break”

lolwut

Thanks for your help!

by all ap classes I mean that i take the most rigorous classes that my school offers in every subject. I know that AP is testing out of subjects for college. I am not smart enough for that! I am paging for my congressman over christmas break though.

can anyone give me feedback on any of these schools

We don’t know your grades or your SSAT scores. That would be helpful. But it sounds like you’re into a lot of great extracurriculars. Keep in mind, however, not to exaggerate on your application. Hardest classes in middle school are not APs. Paging is NOT interning. Admissions committees will see through it. Just be yourself and be honest.

If you want to know any specifics about NMH, DM me. I am a current NMH student and would love to help!
