I got a 1700 on my SAT (500 CR, 580 M, 620 W). I plan on taking 3 AP's senior year, will have 2 or 3 years of sports, 10 hours community service, work experience, and a 3.8+ GPA.

Easy in. If you take the SAT again and get 1850+ you could probably get into University of Florida which is a much better school

http://inlikeme.com/2013-florida-sus-admissions-tour-matrix/ This should help you determine whether you have a chance. Although UF is a better school, it also depends on your major, (ie: chemistry) but UF expects you to take the hardest courses possible. Most of the students I have met at UF have exceeded 30+ credits prior to attending. In other words AP/IB college credits . This matrix should help out , but there are other factors including 10 hrs of community service ( weak), for FL. schools. You did not mention if you are OOS or if you are in FL. (you will need 100hrs for Brightfutures)., since you meet the grade requirement but not community service.

You should be in without too much problem.
